About this role
Position Title: Daycare Lead Location: Hamlin Collegiate Elementary ISD Daycare Salary: Based on local salary schedule Length of Contract: 12 months Position Summary:
• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
• Ensure the well-being and physical needs of each child are met, including feeding, diapering, and nap times
• Collaborate with other childcare providers and staff members to create a cohesive and positive daycare experience
• Reports to Elmentary Principal
Position Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for working with children and promoting their growth and development
• Providing a nurturing and educational experience for children in our community
