POSTING SSII Main Office Secretary Morse Pond School 37.5 hours/week, 10 months/year (194 days) (includes 5 days before school begins and 5 days after school ends) 2026-2027 School Year QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma with postgraduate secretarial study preferred

• High level of technical skills including typing of 60 words per minute and familiarity with a variety of office machines

• Proficiency with computer applications and technology

• Ability to serve the public, faculty, and students in professional, efficient, and pleasing

• manner

• Ability to manage multiple projects

• Well-organized and adept at organizational procedures

• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may deem

• appropriate and acceptable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide clerical support to the Principal and Principal's secretary

• Manage office routines pertaining to mail, telephone, attendance, homework requests, correspondence, and filing systems

• Handle reports and materials concerning the operation of the office

• Assist with correspondence, reports, and notices when requested

• Perform a variety of secretarial duties

• Perform such other tasks as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal
