Job Description: Help FLECS teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with behavior difficulties. Assist in implementation of FLECS program, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher. Start Date: August, 2026 Salary Range (Based on 2026-2027 Compensation Plan): Minimum: $13.22/hour Salary commensurate with related experience Duty Days: 187 Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (District will make application to TEA once candidate is selected) Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work with children with behavior difficulties Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively Knowledge of general office equipment
