Davies is now hiring a Long-term Health Career Instructor Sub for School Year 2026-2027! This position will go from August 2026- 11/1/2026. These are anticipated dates, which are subject to change. Qualifications -RI Teacher Certification: Health Occupations or certificate eligible -Registered Nurse experience required -Teaching experience preferred -Master’s degree preferred -Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptable Essential Duties/Responsibilities -Develop and implement an effective Health Careers program, including theory and labs that facilitate meaningful learning in the core competencies of the curriculum -Maintain student record, including grades, attendance, and performance measures that assess and improve student learning -Foster a safe and productive learning environment -Facilitate program advisory board meetings -Support student career readiness and Work-Based Learning experiences -Maintain knowledge of best practices in and current industry standards -Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Understanding Required -Communicates and collaborates effectively with students, families, and colleagues -Know and understand industry recognized credentials and industry standards Physical Demands -The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
