About this role
Overview: Support lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans; perform record keeping and clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, etc.); assist with supervision of daily class functions; accompany teachers on home visits; assist with student registration; prepare materials for classroom instruction; assist with classroom management; assist with assessments; anecdotal notes; and work with other classroom staff to provide child-centered, play-based and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE: BUILDING TO BE DETERMINED
Work Days/Hours: BASED ON BUILDING ASSIGNMENT Monday-Thursday: Potential start and stop times, based on building assignment: 8:00am-3:30; or 8:15am-3:45pm; or 8:30am-4:00pm Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm* or 8:15am-12:15pm* or 8:30am-12:30pm
*At least one Friday per month, the workday will be 7 1/2 hours for home visits. Schedule to be determined by building assignment. Location(s): TO BE DETERMINED
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
Qualifications: Meet all degree requirements of Great Start Readiness Program Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a valid classroom CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) Current CPR and First Aide as approved by the Red Cross or the American Heart Association
