Job Title: Substitute Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and/or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and dependable individual for Substitute Certified Medical Assistant and/or Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide temporary coverage and support in a school health setting. The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate, efficient care students while following established protocols and maintaining professional standards. Substitutes are required to complete a two-day training session upon hire.
Key Responsibilities: ? Provide basic student assessment, including vital signs, first aid, medication administration, and routine health assessments ? Assist with documentation and maintenance of medical records ? Support nurses and school health staff during absences or scheduled time off ? Respond to health-related incidents or emergencies promptly and effectively ? Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines Qualifications: ? Current CMA or LVN license in the state of Texas ? CPR/BLS certification required ? Previous clinical or school-based experience preferred ? Strong communication and organizational skills ? Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
