POSITION: Special Education Teacher Martinson Elementary School STARTING DATE: September 2026 (teachers begin Tuesday, September 1, 2026) SALARY: Teacher Salary Schedule ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY: Reports directly to Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent Student Services QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's preferred.
• MA DESE License: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (Pre K-8) required; Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities preferred (All).
• Experience working with students with diverse academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral needs.
• Experience working with students with Autism, severe disabilities, and/or AAC devices.
• Ability to develop and implement behavioral plans and Individualized Education Programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with families and colleagues.
