In this role, you will champion early literacy, foster critical thinking about the world, and build the foundation our students need to shine on the STAAR and grow into confident, curious learners. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities): Inspire Young Minds: Deliver vibrant, standards-based instruction in reading, writing, and social studies aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Support Every Story: Differentiate your lessons creatively to meet diverse learning styles, ensuring every 3rd grader feels supported, confident, and celebrated. Drive Growth with Data: Collaboratively utilize student data to track progress, close learning gaps, and unlock each child's full literacy potential. Cultivate a Joyful Classroom: Build a positive, well-structured classroom community where students feel safe to take risks, learn from mistakes, and thrive. Partner and Connect: Communicate dynamically with families and work hand-in-hand with a deeply supportive campus staff to celebrate student achievements. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications): A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Valid Texas Teaching Certification through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) appropriate for 3rd-grade elementary instruction. Strong instructional delivery and a positive toolkit of elementary classroom management strategies. A growth mindset, a collaborative heart, and a genuine love for working with elementary students.
