Position: Career Pathways & Workforce Readiness Teacher (Grades 6–12) Qualifications: 1. Valid Kentucky Teacher Certificate. 2. Experience and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable. Description: The Career Pathways & Workforce Readiness Teacher prepares students for success beyond high school by providing hands-on, career-focused instruction that develops technical skills, employability skills, and workplace readiness. The teacher creates engaging learning experiences that expose students to high-demand careers, industry practices, and real-world applications while fostering responsibility, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. This position plays a key role in helping students identify career interests, develop postsecondary plans, and prepare for employment or additional training. Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
