Testing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant Position Bishop O'Connell High School, located in Arlington, VA, has an immediate opening for a Testing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant in the Studies Office. This is a 12-month, non-exempt, full-time, hourly position with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Under the general supervision of the Dean of Academics, this position is tasked with coordinating standardized testing for the school, including PSAT and AP Exams; managing current student data and other clerical functions related to the Studies Office. The typical responsibilities for the job are as follows: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate all facets of the school's standardized testing program including PSAT and AP Examinations
• Process quarterly and annual grades
• Create instruction for teachers to complete grading requirements for quarter, semester, and yearly reports
• Assist Academic Dean in the scheduling process
• Provide regular administrative information in easily accessible form
• Prepare for annual Academic Award Ceremony
• Create grid of room availability for Administration use in case of an emergency when a room cannot be used
• Create teacher assignment grid used for looking up teacher's schedules, free period, lunch and service assignments
• Create a chart for faculty locations for Parent Teacher Conferences
• Assist Dean of Academics, Principal and Communication Director in preparing information for Course Selection Guide
• Work with Counselors in processing student Course Placement Data
• Work with Dean of Student Affairs and Attendance Manager to enter all necessary calendar and schedule data into PowerSchool
• Other administrative duties as assigned
Compensation Salary range is $25 to $32 per hour, commensurate with experience. Full benefits offered.
