About this role
Channing ISD is a small, rural school located about 45 miles northwest of Amarillo. We are seeking a 4th grade self-contained teacher. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned, or in an approved program working toward certification. Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of assigned curriculum; knowledge of instructional methods Ability to instruction students and manage their behavior Lesson planning skills Lesson presentation skills Conflict resolution skills Classroom management skills Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Technology skills as related to classroom presentation and record keeping Strong knowledge of Internet and web-related technology Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms Ability to support students with computer set-up, navigation, and technology issues
