• High School Diploma
• Demonstrate aptitude for the work to be performed in an environment of high expectations and with adolescent learners

• Complete assigned tasks efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner and without constant supervision

• Promote a positive learning environment for students while maintaining discipline when needed
• Provide behavioral and academic support in both regular and special education classrooms with poise and confidence
• Maintain and operate a variety of assistive technology
• Accept tasks and responsibilities willingly and pleasantly from both teachers and/or case managers
• Demonstrate an aptitude and flexibility to work with multiple schedules and student needs.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Tend to diapering and personal care needs of students
• Maintain student records and confidentiality
• Maintain above average attendance including attendance to necessary in-service and staff trainings/meetings
• Assist with direct observation/data collection and assessment
• Facilitate re-teaching and extra instruction in a wide variety of courses including math, English, social studies, science, and transition activities
