Job Description Assistant Director of Bands-Percussion Specialist
Qualifications Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree Valid Texas teaching certificate K-12 Music Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to communicate effectively Ability to motivate students Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of electronics a plus Experience: Experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• Teach and manage the percussion studio, grades 6-12
• Organize and implement all percussion sectionals
• Organize and manage all electronics for the marching show
• Organize and conduct the sixth grade band
• Organize and supervise the band trailer and student crew
• Team teach the fifth grade music course
