Jenks Public Schools Job Description Position: Building Administrative Assistant Reports to: Assistant Principal Supervises: None Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Word processing, Excel, Google app's experience preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to use oral and written communication effectively.
• Comfortable working with and learning technology-based student information systems.
• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: Assist in the implementation of the program designed to meet the specific goals and objectives for each student, through the provision of individual attention, additional and/or enrichment instructions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Create a welcoming, professional, friendly, helpful office environment and first impression.
• Answer the telephone and take messages as needed.
• Provide clerical assistance to Assistant Principals.
• Process homework assignments.
• Assist in coordinating student testing material.
• Gather information and completion of reports for Assistant Principals.
• Coordinate and track student discipline compliance.
• Manage student discipline records and process updates in Educator's Handbook and PowerSchool.
• Distribute discipline paperwork to appropriate site and district personnel.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
