About this role

Fowler Elementary School District Job Title: GRANTS DIRECTOR Classification: Administrative Salary: Salary and contract terms to be established by the Governing Board Descri tion: The Grants Director provides direction, and guidance over all federal and state. The director oversees the development of comprehensive program plans, writing of grants, submitting grants and monitoring their implementation while ensuring compliance with State and Federal laws, Arizona Department of Education guidance, Qualifications:

• Teacher Certification, Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in education or closely related field, Required.

• Masters degree in education, leadership, finance, or related field, Preferred

• Knowledge and experience in grant writing, required.

• Public school work experience required (minimum five years preferred)

• Experience in various school/finance-related positions with progressive responsibilities

• Administrative and or supervisor certification, preferred.

• Department of Public Safety (DPS) Identity Verified Print (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Strong leadership, supervisory, implementation, and management skills

• Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in English language, including reading, writing, and oral communication

• Strong communication skills

• Proficient in computer and software use sufficient to perform job tasks with accuracy

Knowledge of:

• Federal and Arizona School Laws governing schools and districts

• Federal state, and private sector grant design.

• Grants procurement, management, and accounting practices

• Administration and management of Public K-8 school districts

• Appropriate knowledge of standard business office tools, including copiers, scanners, desktop computer

• Prior experience working with the AZ Department of Education Grants Management system

• Computer programs such as Word, Excel, Google Calendar, Sheets, and Meet,

Ability to:

• Schedule, organize, and facilitate activities, meetings, and events.

• Plan and deliver staff training with confidence and expertise

• Interpret and evaluate district and policies to ensure appropriate program implementation and

• monitoring

• Develop and implement long and short-term goals as related to job functions.

• Effectively and succinctly communicate and provide professional development to staff.

• Accurately interpret and implement direction from verbal or written directions

• Prioritize work, take initiative, meet time restraints, and attend to multiple tasks simultaneously

• Work with various data types

• Analyze issues to create, implement, and monitor action plans.

• Sit or stand for prolonged periods, lift/carry, and move 30 lbs.

• Work between work sites

• Respond to multiple administrators and provide timely updates on project status to supervisors

• Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to District records, programming and items of a sensitive

• nature
