HS Science Teacher Washington Community School has a Science Teacher opening at the High School for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a passionate, dedicated educator who is team-oriented, collaborative, adaptable and prepared to participate as a member of the department. The position may include instruction at all levels of Science taught at the High School. All Science certification preferred. WCSD prepares our students to lead lives with purpose by developing skills in communication, collaboration, contribution, perseverance, innovation and critical thinking. We keep students at the center of everything we do. Washington is a vibrant community of over 7300 people, located just over 30 minutes from Coralville and Iowa City. The main portion of our High School is 12 years old, with a new addition that opened two years ago. Washington's Performing Arts Center seats over 700 and opened six years ago. WHS students have a long tradition of success in academics and activities, including sports and music.
