Location: Berg Middle School or Newton High School Position: Volunteer Athletic Coach Start Date: At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics Availability: At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics
Applicants must have a valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners in order to coach for our District.
Process of Volunteer Coach Approval:
• NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics will review applicants and set up interviews for available positions • Criminal History Background check will take place
Upon background check approval - Volunteer Coaches must also provide a copy of the following documents to Human Resources:
• Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate • Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate • Transcripts from Coaching Classes • Driver License
