Position Summary: Southeastern Regional Technical Vocational High School seeks a passionate and dedicated Long-term Substitute to teach High School History. Preferred Licensure: History Grades 5-12 Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Valid Massachusetts teaching licensure in History
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage learner-centered, student-owned educational experiences
• Create a classroom environment of high expectations that is safe, supportive, and inclusive
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support and differentiate learning
• Assess and monitor student progress; provide timely and constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with students, parents/families, and colleagues
