• Distance Learning Coordinator
• Serve as liaison between NCVPS teachers, student, parents
• Working with School Counselors and Administration to set policies
• Classroom management- Make sure students are on task and doing online work.
• Help students in online classes if they need or ask for help
• Check students grades and progress in classes
• a) Login to their accounts to trach progress
• Give out passwords for foreign language quizzes
• Assist students with phone in speaking assignments
• School contact with parents about distance learning classes
• Print parent letters/username and passwords at the beginning of each semester
• Class sign out parent permission forms
• Fill out help desk tickets as needed through Canvas/NCVPS classes
• Record daily attendance in Powerschool
• Input grades in consultation with counselors
• Technology-Media Assistant
• Assist with Chromebook collection and redistribution
• Collect Chromebook forms and write down receipt number
• Assist students with Distance Learning technology requirements
• Assist students with computer login, internet connection issues
• Google Sheets for scheduling
• Proficiency with G Suite Application (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
• Use of North Carolina Virtual Public Schools website
• Assist student with printing, scanning, making copies
• Provide assistance to teachers and staff with technology troubleshooting and applications as needed
• Assist with technology training as needed
