About this role
• Serves as assistant academic coach for after school and extracurricular academic team events and competitions and reports to the head academic coach and principal.
• Plans and assists in all events, competitions, and programs
• Assists in organizing and supervising all practices and meetings
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations, rules, and guidelines
• Work Year: Academic Team Season
• Salary: Stipend Extra Service Salary Schedule
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Must possess a valid Kentucky driver's license
• Has met the requirements for criminal records check and child abuse and neglect check as specified by Kentucky State Law
• One of the following: minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university, passed the paraeducator exam, or previous academic teacm coaching experience
• Ability to work effectively with students and parents
• Teacher Certification Preferred
