The Sioux Center Schools are looking for energetic and compassionate individuals to join our Kinsey Title I Team to help our Hispanic students language needs for the 26-27 school year. This is a morning part-time position starting August 19, 2026. Basic Function of the Position:Assist students and teachers in the learning environment.QualificationsMandatory: High School Graduate Ability to work with people Ability to organize and maintain files and materialsDesirable: Past paraprofessional experience Duties and tasks of the Position
• Assist students in the modifications to their individual education program.
• Maintain group discipline in an education setting.
• Organize education material or ideas.
• Establish & maintain relationships with students.
• Mentor students on their study and life skills.
• Monitor student classroom activities.
• Use behavior modification techniques.
• Participate in staff training programs.
Employment Information:
• Employed by the Sioux Center Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent.
• Directly reports to the building principal
• The salary for this position is set by the Sioux Center Community School Board of Education and is an hourly rate of pay
