Job Description Ipswich High School is seeking an engaging and passionate educator for a 0.6 FTE Health Teacher position for the upcoming school year. This role is dedicated to empowering high school students with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and wellness strategies necessary to make informed decisions regarding their physical, mental, and social-emotional health. The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment, implementing a comprehensive health curriculum that aligns with state standards and promotes lifelong healthy habits. Health Education (0.6 FTE)
• Teach three (3) sections of Health Education per semester.
• Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate grading records and constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Required Qualifications & Licensures Candidates must possess the following credentials at the time of application:
• Massachusetts DESE Health Teacher License
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, coaches, and administration.
