Job Description Ipswich Public Schools is seeking a qualified professional to fill a part-time, 0.4 FTE Athletic Trainer position at Ipswich High School for the upcoming school year. This critical role focuses on the health, safety, and peak performance of our student-athletes, providing crucial preventative care, emergency triage, injury evaluation, and rehabilitation services. Operating as a key component of the Tiger athletic program, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with coaches, parents, and medical professionals to oversee comprehensive injury management and concussion return-to-play protocols. Athletic Training (0.4 FTE)
• Fulfill the comprehensive duties of an Athletic Trainer for the duration of the entire school year.
• Provide preventative care, emergency triage, evaluation, and rehabilitation for student-athletes.
• Oversee injury management, concussion protocols, and return-to-play clearances in coordination with medical professionals.
• Attend home athletic events and practices as designated by the Athletic Director.
Required Qualifications & Licensures Candidates must possess the following credentials at the time of application:
• Valid Athletic Trainer License issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, coaches, and administration.
