As part of this experience programme where no experience is required, you will receive mentoring and hands-on training, giving you the opportunity to develop valuable office administration and customer service skills in a professional environment. You will always be working as part of a team that will be there to offer any support needed and provide training in the following: Greet and welcome the public, learners, and staff, ensuring a positive first impression, be courteous at all times. Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy. Assist with maintenance and organisation of office documentation, both physical and digital. Assist with supporting the team with data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks such as manual and electronic filing, photocopying, answering/making telephone calls, dealing with e-mails. Assist in the drafting and issue of letters, memos and general information to the public, learners, and staff. Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing post. Assist when ordering office supplies. Use of Information Technology e.g. software relevant to the area of work, word processing, spreadsheets, database, e-mail and internet etc. Ensure all information received within Coláiste na Ríochta remains confidential. Assisting with general administrative tasks. Comply with Kerry Education and Training Board (Kerry ETB) Policies and Procedures. Applicants should be prepared to complete a Garda Vetting Application Form. Participants will be required to be Garda Vetted. Applicants should be prepared to successfully complete a Tusla Children First, ‘Introduction to Children First’ Elearning Programme.
