Employer: South Dublin Voluntary Groups Responsible to: General Manager / Cook Hours of Work: 19.5 Hours per week (Monday – Friday mornings) Function of Position: The role of the Meals On Wheels Driver is to: Deliver MOW to people in the local area. Duties Include: Drive van to deliver meals on wheels as per delivery sheets within specified time frames. Ensure meals are stored and delivered inline with all Health and Safety guidelines. Collect payment from people and issue receipts. Report any concerns about peoples’ health or wellbeing to the General Manager/Cook. Any other duties as required. Experience and Qualifications: A full clean driving license and at least one year’s driving experience Reasonably fit – we deliver to some blocks of flats with no lifts. Good people skills and empathetic approach. Key Relationships: You will have a number of key relationships each defined hereunder Effective relationships with the Little Flower team, the team is small and good working relationships are essential to ensure the success of the operation.
