About this role
Light cleaning duties which include the general upkeep of kitchen, hall, workrooms, office and toilet areas. Preparation / Cooking of light meals for participants. Support will be given if necessary. Your job is to keep the building warm, clean, safe, and tidy for everyone. You may sometimes work in different rooms or sites. ✅ Daily Tasks • Empty bins • Sweep, hoover, and mop floors • Clean kitchen, classrooms, offices, and reception • Clean toilets and refill soap/toilet roll • Tidy all rooms and storage areas • Use wet floor signs Kitchen & Lunch • Prepare and cook food safely • Serve light lunch (up to 30 people) • Wash dishes and clean kitchen • Store food safely • Report low supplies 📅 Weekly (Friday) • Compile a list for food and cleaning supplies • Deep clean fridge and dishwasher • Confirm bin Collections • Tidy off storage area 🗓 Monthly • Health & Safety check • Report any repairs needed • Check cleaning stock Areas to Clean Reception, classrooms, offices, counselling rooms, kitchen, hall, toilets, store room, hallways. Identify and participate in relevant training to role. Identify areas of education and training that will support future employment opportunities.. CE Scheme Skills
