About this role
The CE programme will give successful applicants paid employment and the opportunity to gain practical work experience of 19.5 hours per week within an Afterschool Setting. The work experience and training will enable applicants to secure future employment opportunities within the Childcare sector. All training cost will be 100% funded through the programme. Rate per week €286.50 Duties to include: supporting Afterschool Room leader with daily programme activities, assisting children with homework and reading, assist in serving of afterschool dinners and afterschool snacks, working as part of a team under the direction of the room leader. Being mindful of health and safety issues in the workplace. working hours Monday to Friday 1:00 to 5:00pm excluding breaks. Two written references and Garda Vetting is required for this placement.
