About this role
We need a Cook / Kitchen Assistant in Ballyfermot working in the morning from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Successful applicants will be part of a two person team in our kitchen within our childcare facility. Job Purpose: To prepare, cook and deliver meals to the 4 children’s rooms in the service in a timely manner as required. To ensure only quality, safe ingredients are used for cooking. To liaise with team to ensure that all food levels are adequate and to use the HSE Food & Nutrition Guidelines when preparing and cooking meals for the children. To work at all times within the guidelines of HACCP. To keep the kitchen and store room tidy and hygienically clean. No experience is necessary, as relevant training will be provided.
