About this role
This is a developmental opportunity; no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career development. The participant will be responsible for carrying out tasks as directed by the supervisor within the community charity shop. Duties will include sorting donated clothing and other donated items and ensuring all items are appropriately sized and price-tagged for sale. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the shop and surrounding area, assisting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner, and helping with the daily operation of the shop. The participant may also be required to assist with balancing the cash float and supporting other activities that contribute to the smooth running of the facility. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable retail, customer service, stock management, and workplace skills in a supportive environment.
