About this role
The role by its nature is quite varied, meaning that participants will get an opportunity to engage with lots of different types of people. The below list includes – but is not limited to - the types of activities that participants can expect to support: • Meeting and greeting clients as they arrive at the centre. • Providing refreshments to all participants of the centre. • Helping with activities. • Attending events in other centres and ensuring club members’ requirements are met. • Supporting the organisation of events and fundraisers • Assisting participants on and off the bus. • General hygiene upkeep of the centre. • Report any health and safety/concerns to management. • Assisting the manager with ad hoc tasks. This position is subject to Garda clearance. Essential • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Professional and friendly manner Desirable for this position • A passion for people and community development Training and support will be provided.
