About this role
Working with Riverstown Tidy Towns, the two successful candidates will have responsibility for maintaining public areas, strimming, lawnmowing, leaf blowing and the keeping the area litter free. Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to tasks such as keeping all road signs clean, emptying litter bins, ensuring pathways are weed free and that all weeds, hedge trimmings etc. are collected and disposed of in a responsible manner. Candidates will also be involved in tasks such as planting and watering flowers & shrubs during the summer months, general upkeep of all flowerbeds throughout the year, as well as general maintenance and some painting. Candidates will be responsible for the safe use and general maintenance of all equipment, and a full driving licence is preferrable. Successful candidates may also be required to undertake any other project work as requested by the sponsor group from time to time. These two positions are based in Riverstown Co Tipperary..
