The salary range starts from €36,605 to €56,000 based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. Job Summary: We are currently looking for experienced Steel Fixers to join our construction team for ongoing projects across Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete in large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and work from engineering drawings, plans, and schedules Cut and shape rebar and mesh using hand and power tools Tie rebar together with wire, clips, or welding equipment Position and fix reinforcement bars and mesh to formwork Install spacers and chairs to ensure correct positioning Ensure work complies with construction standards and safety regulations Cooperate with site managers and other trades on-site Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order
