About this role

We are currently offering a training and work experience opportunity through the Work Placement Experience Programme (WPEP) to join our team. This placement provides an opportunity to gain practical work experience in a busy office environment. The participant will be exposed to day-to-day business operations, with a particular focus on supporting administrative and customer-related activities across the organisation. Alongside experienced team members, the participant will receive guidance and support while developing general workplace skills, gaining confidence, and understanding how a commercial office operates. The purpose of this placement is to provide broad work experience in a professional setting. The participant will support routine administrative activities and gain insight into how customer-facing teams operate, without responsibility for sales delivery or targets. The participant will gain experience in: • Providing general administrative support across the business • Assisting with research and maintaining internal records and databases • Supporting the preparation of documents, emails, and reports • Updating internal systems (including CRM) with supervision • Observing how teams manage customer relationships and communications • Assisting with organising information for ongoing projects and activities • Supporting marketing and communication activities where required • Observing internal and client meetings to understand workplace practices • Assisting with general office tasks and day-to-day operations. Formal training will be structured and may include access to recognised learning resources aligned with the Work Placement Experience Programme (WPEP). Formal training 20 Hours (WPEP / QQI Aligned) will include: • Introduction to Office Administration and Business Operations Understanding general administrative processes, workplace procedures, and how a commercial office environment operates. • Customer Service and Communication Skills Training in professional communication, including email writing, document preparation, and appropriate workplace interactions. • Systems and CRM Training (ConnectWise) Introduction to the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including updating records and maintaining accurate information under supervision. • WPEP QQI Work Experience Module (Optional) Participants are eligible to complete the QQI Work Experience Module, developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. Informal training will be delivered through structured, supervised, on-the-job experience within the workplace. This will allow the participant to apply learning in a real working environment. Informal training will include: • Administrative Support Skills Gaining practical experience in routine administrative tasks, including document preparation, record maintenance, and general office support. • Workplace Systems and Tools Exposure to internal systems and tools, including CRM systems, databases, and general office software used within the organisation. • Customer and Business Operations Exposure Observing how teams manage customer relationships, communications, and day-to-day business activities. • Teamwork and Communication Working as part of a team, developing communication skills, and understanding workplace collaboration practices. • Organisation and Time Management Supporting daily tasks while developing the ability to organise work and manage time effectively. • Shadowing and Mentoring Structured shadowing of experienced team members, with ongoing guidance, support, and feedback throughout the placement.
