Our client, Moovmor Engineering Limited, based in Kildare, Co. Kildare, is currently seeking Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for immediate start at their facility in Kildare, Co. Kildare. Qualifications: There are no minimum academic requirements. Training will be provided on-the-job. A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician or similar is required. No formal qualifications are required for this role General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience: - To provide preventive and reactive mechanical maintenance to waste balers, compactors and recycling equipment - To work with mechanical engineers in the manufacture, assembly, testing, installation and repair of industrial waste handling machinery - To diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems according to required specifications - To monitor the installation, operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure satisfactory performance and compliance with safety regulations - Essential knowledge for the role includes hydraulic systems, pneumatics, mechanical components and engineering drawings - Candidates must have knowledge of mechanical testing methods, maintenance procedures and fault-finding techniques - Essential skills include aligning and fitting components, replacing defective parts and operating hand and power tools - Candidates must be competent to perform test runs, complete maintenance inspections and ensure material compliance - Candidates must have experience in reading technical drawings, recording maintenance data and troubleshooting mechanical faults - Previous experience in providing mechanical maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus - 2 years of previous relevant experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician or similar role is required Annual remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour Work Location: Moovmor Engineering Limited, 31 Kildare Business Park, Melitta Road, Kildare, Co.
