Our client, Moovmor Engineering Limited, based in Kildare, Co. Kildare, is currently seeking Welder-Fabricators for immediate start for their facility at Kildare, Co. Kildare. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years’ welding & fabrication experience is required. There are no minimum academic requirements. Welding certification is preferred. General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience: - To operate welding equipment in order to join metalwork pieces together - To use fusion welding processes based on various techniques and materials - To perform simple visual inspection of welds - To perform fillet welds, mig welding and to read drawings - To wear appropriate protective gear and adhere to safety standards - To smooth burred surfaces and recognise metal imperfections - To use sheet metal to construct roofs, ducts for heating & vents, gutters and other metal structures - To read plans and determine type and amount of materials to be used - To measure, bend, cut, shape and attach pieces if metal to create structure required - This role requires knowledge of welding techniques, torch temperature for metal processes, metal thermal conductivity and fuel gas - Essential knowledge includes welding from drawings (2D and 3D), mig welding and fillet welds - Essential knowledge includes metal joining technologies, metal thermal conductivity, rivet types and metal types - Essential skills include aligning components, joining metals and operating welding equipment, including oxy-fuel torch - Essential skills include operation of handheld riveting equipment, interpretation of 2D & 3D plans, and tending metal sawing machine - Candidates must be competent to apply arc & spot-welding techniques and precision metalworking techniques - Candidates must be competent to ensure correct metal temperature and handle fuels - Candidates must have experience in recognising signs of corrosion and removing inadequate workpieces - Candidates must have experience in performing metal active gas welding and inert gas welding - Candidates must have 3 years of relevant experience as a Welder-Fabricator - Welding certification preferred Annual remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour Work Location: Moovmor Engineering Limited, 31 Kildare Business Park, Melitta Road, Kildare, Co.
