Job Title :-Associate Director of Governance
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Director of Governance to join our team In collaboration with the Care Organisations senior leadership team, provide visible leadership and direction to ensure that there are effective Integrated Governance systems, implemented and devolved across the Care Organisation, ensuring all risks are identified and managed via the Care Organisations assurance framework processes. Ensure that the Care Organisation complies with statutory, regulatory, contractual and best practice requirements in relation to governance and quality, with effective assurance monitoring processes in place, through ward to Care Senior Management Team integrated reporting and risk escalation processes.

What you'll be responsible for:
Responsible for the establishment and on-going development of the Care Organisations assurance framework, working with the Care organisations senior leadership team in ensuring the principle risks to the delivery of the Care Organisations objectives are identified and controlled.Ensure the effective functioning of the Care Organisations assurance framework committees including appropriate information flows to Care Organisation Senior Management Team and onward to Group.To be an active member of the Care Organisations assurance groups.Responsible for the implementation of an integrated governance system that ensures governance is multi-disciplinary, locally owned and provides assurance that the Care Organisations control framework is safe and effective.

Job Title: Associate Director of Governance
Location: Tameside General Hospital, Onsite with possibility of one day working from home.
Assignment Length: 6 Months (Bank)
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £43.14 per hour
Band: 8c

Proven experience in quality management within healthcare or related sectors.Strong understanding of NHS standards and healthcare regulations.Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data.Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Level 4 - NHS Patient Safety CertificateRelevant qualifications in healthcare management or quality assurance are preferred.Experience
Experience of undertaking PSIRF learning responses, including PSIIsKnowledgeable in the management of risks.Experience of working in Surgery and Acute hospitalNHS ExperienceKnowledge in the complaints process and KPIsKnowledge and experience in supporting clinicians for inquestsLeadership experience in managing a complex, high-demand service.Knowledge and experience with clinical governance and how it applies within clinical settings.Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

Qualifications Essential
