Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the City Health Dental Services Administration Team in Goole, playing a vital role in delivering a welcoming and high-quality experience for our patients.
This varied position is primarily focused on patient-facing reception and administrative responsibilities, placing you at the heart of a busy and supportive dental service. In addition, the role includes a small element of dental instrument decontamination, carried out in accordance with HTM 01-05 standards.
What you'll do: Support reception tasks, including welcoming patients and keeping accurate records Prepare and clean clinical areas and equipment, following decontamination and sterilisation procedures Assist clinical staff before, during and after treatments Help reassure patients who may feel nervous, offering clear information and support Use specialist equipment safely after receiving full training
Main duties of the job What we're looking for:
Experience in a reception or patient-facing environment, with good communication and listening skills Knowledge of basic administrative tasks and confidence using IT Ability to follow procedures, organise your workload and adapt to changing needs A caring, flexible approach and willingness to learn, with training and supervision provided Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and value fairness, respect and inclusion in everything we do.
