The Role
As a FlexPLM Support Engineer, you will provide functional and technical support for the client's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of the system.
You will work onsite at the client's office in Guangzhou while collaborating closely with distributed engineering teams across China, India, and the United States. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale retail technology platforms supporting global product development processes.
This position is ideal for someone with strong PLM expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for the client's FlexPLM platform and related PLM modules.Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions for business users.Support multiple Product Lifecycle Management modules, including:Line Sheet ManagementBill of Materials (BOM)Materials ManagementSample ManagementParticipate in system configuration, functional implementation, testing, and production support.Gather business requirements and translate them into technical or functional solutions.Perform business process analysis and process mapping to improve system efficiency.Support integrations with enterprise systems using web services and APIs.Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in Oracle databases.Contribute to system documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.At least 7 years of overall IT experience.3–5 years of hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms.Experience supporting FlexPLM (Version 11 or above) is highly preferred.Candidates with experience in other enterprise PLM platforms are also encouraged to apply.Strong understanding of retail product development processes, including:Line Sheet ManagementBOM ManagementMaterials ManagementSample ManagementExperience with PLM configuration, functional implementation, business analysis, testing, production support, and requirements gathering.Knowledge of FlexConnect/TRC is an advantage.Strong understanding of FlexPLM Type Manager and its underlying data model is preferred.Experience with:SQL (Oracle)JavaScriptJavaJSPXMLJSONREST and SOAP web servicesStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Fluent Mandarin and English (spoken and written) are mandatory.Experience within the retail, footwear, fashion, consumer products or software industry is highly preferred.Candidates currently based anywhere in China who are willing to relocate to Guangzhou are welcome to apply.
