Responsibilities:
Manage, maintain, and optimize database systems hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure or GCP Cloud.Provide expertise in managing and administering Aurora MySQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDBCollaborate with the DevOps team to implement infrastructure as code using TerraformMust have experience working with Terraform and CICD implementation tools like Codefresh, Env0 or any other tool.Work with a global team, participating in a 24x7 support rotation as needed.Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of all database environments.Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.Assist in capacity planning, backup and recovery procedures, and disaster recovery drills.Knowledge of shell scriptingCockroach DB or any technology that offer data sharingExperience with YAML codingThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or in a similar role.Proven expertise in managing and administering Aurora MySQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDBSolid understanding of AWS Cloud features and services relevant to database managementGood knowledge and practical experience with TerraformFamiliarity with DevOps principles and practices Visa is an EEO Employer.
