We’re now looking for a Lecturer in Sports Business Management to join our World of Business team.

Role

You will design and deliver engaging, applied teaching across Sports Management and Business of Football, bringing the industry to life in the classroom.

This is not a delivery-only role, you’ll contribute to building a relevant, future-focused curriculum and embedding employer engagement into the student experience.

Deliver engaging, industry-informed teaching across Sports Management and Business of Football modules Design practical learning experiences that build career-ready skills Use digital tools and innovative approaches to maximise engagement

What You’ll Be Doing

Student Experience

Act as a mentor and role model, supporting students to succeed academically and professionally Drive engagement, attendance and outcomes through high-quality teaching Create an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive

Industry & Collaboration

Build links with sports organisations, clubs and partners to enhance curriculum relevance Contribute to live briefs, guest speakers and applied learning opportunities Collaborate across teams to continuously improve the student experience

Essential

Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience Experience teaching in HE or clear potential to transition into teaching Ability to deliver engaging, applied learning using digital tools Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences A genuine commitment to inclusion and student success

Desirable

Experience within the sports industry Experience with employer engagement, partnerships or live projects Degree apprenticeship or work-based learning experience
