About this role
*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
*Duties*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. * Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations. * Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion. * Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues. * Work with low voltage systems as needed, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in both residential and industrial environments. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. * Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for effective installation and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are preferred but not mandatory.
