As a Welder, your primary responsibilities are to inspect incoming parts, to weld small parts together and fabricate non-oil-filled subassemblies.

*WHAT YOU WILL DO*

* Inspect and check incoming parts to ensure they match engineering drawings and specifications. * Verify documents, prepare materials for welding and setup welding machine. * Weld small parts to create subassemblies. * Clean and maintain welding equipment and station. * Performing other duties as allocated.

*WHAT IT TAKES*

* Grade 12 Education. * Saskatchewan Polytechnic Pre-Employment Welding Course or equivalent program. * 6 months to 1 year of hands-on welding experience. * Demonstrated knowledge of tools and welding processes. * Ability to read and understand blueprints. * Capability to work at sustained pace and produce quality work. * Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
