What Youll Do (Responsibilities): Refinishing: Apply high-quality PPG basecoats and clearcoats using our Global downdraft bake spray booth, ensuring a flawless, factory-grade finish. Expert Color Matching: Utilize our advanced computerized paint mixing systems to achieve perfect OEM color matching. Surface Preparation: Mask, sand, prime, and prep repaired vehicle panels cleanly and efficiently before refinishing. Quality Control: Inspect finished work to identify and rectify any defects (runs, sags, dust) before the vehicle moves to reassembly. Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work environment and properly maintain spray equipment. What Were Looking For (Requirements): Experience: Journeyperson Refinish Technician certification is preferred, but we will consider experienced, high-level apprentices. Technical Skill: Proven expertise in automotive paint application, blending, and advanced color matching. Mindset: A strong eye for detail, a high standard of craftsmanship, and a positive team-player attitude. Valid Drivers License: Required to move vehicles around the shop layout.
