*Underground Heavy Equipment Operator ? Civil Construction* *Location:* Kelowna, BC and surrounding areas *Company:* Fredex Construction
Fredex Construction is currently seeking a skilled and experienced *Heavy Equipment Operator* for civil construction projects in the Kelowna area.
*Position Requirements:*
* Minimum *5 years* of heavy equipment operating experience in civil construction * Must reside in or near *Kelowna, BC* * Must hold a *valid Class 5 BC Driver?s License* in good standing (driver?s abstract will be requested) * Background check will be requested if hired * Additional licenses or certifications are considered an asset
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Operate a range of heavy equipment including: * John Deere excavators * Loaders * Bulldozers * Skid steers (Bobcat) * Lead and execute site work activities with minimal supervision * Accurately complete required documentation and paperwork * Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation * Work safely around *underground and overhead utilities* in accordance with all regulations and company protocols

* First Aid * Ground Disturbance * CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) * WHMIS * Fire Extinguisher Training * Respirator Fit Testing * Any other relevant safety training
