JOB PURPOSEParticipate in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of total nursing care to meet the individual needs if patients on a Rehab Long-Term Care unit with Horizon Health Network, Zone 7, Miramichi in accordance with the philosophy, values, and mission of Horizon Health Network. QUALIFICATIONSCurrent registration as a practicing member of the College of Nursing of New Brunswick (CNNB)Possesses good communication skills and decision-making abilitiesDemonstrated adherence to legislation and Horizon Health Network Confidentiality policy to ensure all patients, business, financial and employee information is accessed on a need-to-know basesSuccessful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) and recertified yearly as a condition of continuing employmentPatient safety is a critical aspect of quality health care.
