In this role, you will support safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, handling materials, and ensuring McCain's safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently met. What you'll be doing.Ensure the safety of yourself and your co-workers at all timesPerform material handling of boxes and bags up to 19 kgFollow changeover policies and requirements accuratelyComplete assigned sanitation duties as requiredTroubleshoot, adjust, and maintain equipment to support productionFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs)Support SQCDPE targets by understanding KPIs and setting daily goalsFollow Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and participate in the STEP behavioral safety programAddress production issues while working collaboratively in a fast-paced team environmentParticipate in team meetings, complete required E-learning, and perform other duties as assigned What you'll need to be successful.Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong commitment to workplace safety with a demonstrated “safety first” mindsetBasic computer skills (asset)Ability to work effectively with plant supervision and production employeesTeam-oriented with excellent attendance and reliabilityGood mathematical skills with the ability to complete production forms accurately and neatlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated, observant, and proactive with a positive attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changeLift truck operator skills are an asset; must be willing to learn and operate a lift truck as requiredSelf-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision About the team.You will be part of the production team at the Grand Falls Fry Plant, working alongside operators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Compensation Package: - Starting at 21.49 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
