*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The Line Cook will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests through quality meal preparation and efficient service.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards * Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations * Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met * Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours * Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking supplies * Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment, including dishwashing and waste disposal
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting * Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation practices * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary standards * Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers * Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is mandatory; willingness to learn is essential * Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
