Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Spanish; Castilian. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato). Hot. Outdoors. Potato and vegetable. Tree and orchard fruit. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Direct farm feed inventory activities . Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Implement soil fertility programs. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Mixing fertilizer. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Oversee the activities of clearing the fields. Oversee the process of hoeing crops. Shear and shape trees and plants with knife. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
