This role will be based at Columbus McKinnon Corporation global headquarters with a hybrid work schedule. The Senior Accountant, Tax will be a key member of the tax department as the Company continues to grow and evolve. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>In-house preparation, in OneSource Income Tax software, of the consolidated group’s US federal and state income tax filings.</li> <li>Assist with the preparation, in OneSource Tax Provision, of the interim and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740. Prepare supporting workpapers and reconciliations.</li> <li>Aid in foreign informational reporting (Forms 5471, 8858).</li> <li>Assist with tax research including analysis of new tax laws and the potential impact on the Company.</li> <li>Correspond with the IRS and state departments of revenue regarding notices and audits.</li> <li>Collaborate with global business unit controllers to obtain then analyze relevant tax data.</li> <li>Actively participate in the building of a professional, proactive, responsive, technically strong tax organization.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Working knowledge of US Federal and State income taxes and accounting for income taxes.</li> <li>Strong computer and data analysis skills. Proficient with excel. Experience with tax research tools or corporate income tax preparation software, specifically OneSource, is preferred.</li> <li>Superior work ethic and commitment level dedicated to achieving individual and team goals. Desire for career growth and advancement in tandem with the Company growth. </li> <li>Detail oriented with ability to effectively take direction, self-review, problem solve, and appropriately escalate concerns.</li> <li>Confident, effective verbal and written communicator in both individual and group settings.</li> <li>Enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to change, and enjoys collaboration.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Required Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor&apos;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Analytics required.</li> <li>2+ years of full-time corporate tax experience.</li> <li>Master’s in Tax or Accounting required.</li> <li>CPA preferred.</li> </ul></div></div></div>
