Stock Controller Dunfermline Permanent JOB OVERVIEW We are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join our Global Operations department based in Dunfermline. You will be working within a lean customer focussed warehouse and logistics environment that is responsible for ensuring that all the companies material movement demands are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <ul style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm"> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Goods In Processing: GRN, RMA & RTV receipts, stock labelling, locating and material transfers.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Sales order Processing: Order picking, processing, and Logistics fulfilment.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Production Kitting: Manufacturing order generation / processing, lineside and kit stock replenishment, Finished product processing.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Cycle Counting: Perpetual cycle counting.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System processing: Ensuring all stock movements are transacted efficiently and accurately.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Housekeeping: Conform to working within a “6’s” environment.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Be a contributor to the Department’s Continuous Improvement programme.</li> </ul> WHAT QUALIFICATIONS OR QUALITES ARE REQUIRED <ul style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm"> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Valid Reach Truck.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Valid Aisle Master.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Clean driving license.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Experienced in using an ERP systems inventory module,” Dynamics” would be preferable.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">A proven track record of working within a medium/low manufacturing environment within stores.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques: 5s, KANBAN and KAIZAN.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Customer focussed with good interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Highly numerate, ideally hold a mathematical qualification.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 32.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">A competent self-starter with a flexible attitude and the ability to handle a multi tasked role in a face paced changing environment.</li> </ul> BENEFITS At Optos, we offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
